Hackney Coterie

A split level venue embedded in the heart of East London; a hub for people with a shared interest in good food, good wine and good times. The over exaggerated, close kerning on the logotype represents that coming together of people.

The colour palette was one of the most important details of the brand identity, having to work harmoniously with the interiors to create a range of communications that flowed with the decor.

Each piece of communication was designed with the various aspects of Hackney Coterie in mind which consists of a wine shop, deli, bakery, bar, restaurant and event space. Having such a vast number of offerings under one roof we settled on a complete mixture of styles, weights and alignments across the menus and advertising to mirror all of these different areas of the venue.

Solidified a trustworthy visual identity within a local community, creating an instantly recognisable mark for the new neighbourhood hangout.
